The primary issue that comes to mind is those who have will lose it to those with weapons. Unless, perhaps, they are more remote, but that is just a time difference.
That’s where faith comes in. The object is of utmost importance. Faith in self? Or faith in God? I choose God. Bottom line: better to die with dignity in pursuit of life than die in a state of apathy, fatalism, or nihilism.
Yet, death is the ultimate dignity for those in Christ. I hear you and honour your perspective, however, striving to maintain this life is not the point. There must be a balance that each needs to seek in wisdom and prudence.

This is why I advocate for learning how to grow food and save seeds. Someone can always steal physical items from you, but not your wisdom and skills.
